Benefits of cosmetic aligners?
They are invisible: Invisalign aligners are not perceptible to the naked eye, which generates security in the wearer, both when talking to other people and when presenting at meetings or conferences, since no one will notice that the patient is wearing them.
Comfortable to wear: Due to the excellent materials used in the dental aligners, they provide comfort to those who wear them.
Custom design: The design is depending on the case that each patient presents, the number of aligners will be determined by the specialist to review the patient and will provide the necessary corresponding to a period. To make the change of each aligner at home.
Time savings: Because cases can be planned and aligners can be made for a period of time, patients can have office visits up to every 6 months, since they can change aligners from the comfort of their own home as the case progresses.
They can be taken off and put on: As part of the comfort invisalign aligners, they can be removed on occasions that are necessary, this is not highly recommended, but it is certainly an excellent option for the patient.
Less caries than with other methods: The aligners must be removed for dental cleaning, which is recommended after eating and should be carried out thoroughly with brush, toothpaste, dental floss and mouthwash, in order to keep as many germs away from the patient’s mouth as possible.
With metallic or esthetic brackets this is not possible because the bristles of the toothbrush do not manage to remove 100% of the food, getting stuck between the teeth and the wire or the bands that support it.
